At 11:42am on January 4, 2017, Eugene Wickersham said…: I've lived in St.Louis and Portland. St. Louis is obviously nuts for football. The problem there is that the owners are always leaving for 'greener pastures'. In Portland, every league that put a team there folded- although the games were well attended. Meanwhile, the Portland Timbers(MLS)have sold out every home game ever. Admittedly soccer and football are different. But I think St.Louis and Portland are both places that just need a team to commit. Also lots of people drive down from British Columbia when the Whitecaps play the Timbers. Having said this, I don't think the CFL should recklessly expand in the US.
